My team and I selected water waste reduction as our focus after reviewing a variety of campus issues. We interviewed students and staff about their experiences with water waste and conducted site analyses in key areas such as dining halls, dormitories, and bathrooms. Using these insights, we developed three solutions: an awareness website, an interactive water-saving app, and a water refill station featuring an advanced sensor system. After presenting our concepts, gathering feedback, and further interviews, we refined our direction toward the sensor-based prototype, which we found encouraged seamless student interaction and had the greatest potential for positive campus impact.

For our final prototype, my team and I carefully evaluated which aspects of our design needed adjustments and identified features our users appreciated most.
